Just another reason why I don’t want to leave.

I will miss conversations like this.

Roommate: “I MISS MY PHONE! I am going to be so stoked to text on a real phone when I get home. Except my mom totally got on to me and I’m not allowed to text and drive.”

Me: “That sucks.”

Roommate: “They need to invent a device that allows me to speak my texts.”

Me: “Um I think they already have. It’s called a phone call.”

  1. I don’t get the people that text NON-STOP. Like, I’ll text fairly regularly when I’d like to know something or tell someone something and time really isn’t that important, but carrying on complete conversations beyond maybe 3 or 4 messages makes no sense to me.

Well, we wont mention the fact that your father had over 1900 text last month!!! I think he has way way way to much time on his hands!!

O.M.G. thats why I have an 800.00 phone bill!!!!!

  5. I really hope your mom is exaggerating or else you might need to work on being a better daughter.

Also odd that you supposedly couldn’t respond via text-messaging back when I was performing the (Not So) Grand Experiment.

Calm down Cal. (anyone used that one yet?!?) I am not supposed to be texting unless it is to tell my mother a very important piece of information or to get online so we can talk. See, I am a good daughter.

With the whole texting the father thing, I was referring back to when I was in America and I would text my father during the horrid science videos we had to watch.

  7. Ooooooooh.

That wasn’t properly explained in your original statement. But now it makes more sense.
